As I Was Contemplating Sculpting A Piece That Is An Expression Of Music, I Wanted To Etch A Pattern That Tells A Story. The Interlocking Carvings Of Dancers And Musical Instruments Flow In A Continuous Narrative Around The Figure. Her Gesture Is One Of Being Enraptured.
